These programs serve adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as significant behavioral health challenges.
These individuals may also have forensic mental health concerns and will likely will be transitioning into the community from a developmental center, psychiatric hospital or acute crisis facility.
To support the medical and mental health needs of the clients of these programs, Liberty is hiring Registered Nurses forfull-time & part-time positions.
The specific responsibilities of these positions includes:
Providing nursing care to a small caseload of adult clients Assessing clients' acute and chronic medical and psychiatric health status Administering medications to clients and monitoring efficacy and side effects Triaging and referring clients to health care providers and facilities as clinically indicated Educating and training clients and staff about symptoms, medications and general physical and mental health topics Rapidly responding to individual client needs Functioning as a member or the program's management team Actively participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetingsRegistered Nurses who are employed on a part-time basis will be required to commit to regular 20-hour workweeks.
