Liberty Healthcare provides high quality behavioral health services to San Diego County jail inmates who are struggling with mental illness. Liberty Healthcare leverages thirty years of mental health experience and best practices in correctional mental health to help inmate clients achieve positive clinical outcomes and improved overall mental health.
Liberty's program employs a team of well-trained, talented and dedicated Psychiatrists and Psychologists who administer comprehensive assessment, treatment, crisis intervention and aftercare services to inmate clients.
A full-time Psychiatrist position is now available with Liberty Healthcare at the Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility in Santee (San Diego County), California.
This position will be responsible for providing psychiatric services to a small caseload of female inmates within the jail. This includes assessing clients, formulating diagnoses, prescribing and managing medications and collaborating with ancillary clinicians.

Liberty also seeks a Psychiatrist to provide part-time coverage at the jail on Saturdays and Sundays, 4 hours each day.

Skills/Requirements
Well-qualified candidates will have successfully completed a residency in Psychiatry and be licensed to practice medicine in California. Both early career and experienced Psychiatrists are encouraged to apply. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
