Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations and establish department measurables (Examples below, but not limited to):
Sales:
Topline Growth, MAP Enforcement, Optimizing Sales Channel Mix.
Marketing:
Organic/Paid Campaign Management, Features/Benefits, Unique Selling Propositions, Collaboration Between Divisions.
Accounting:
EBITDA, Cash, Monthly Financials.
Engineering:
New Products, Value Engineering, Component Cost Evaluations.
Production:
Component/Finish Good Assembly, Repairs/Returns, BOM Accuracy, Scheduling.
Purchasing:
JIT Procurement, Inventory Management, Optimizing Payment Terms.
Warehouse:
Optimizing layout such as finished good locations, target inventory levels, workflow.
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
Set policies and processes.
Mentor, motivate and grow personnel.
Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
Proactive management of financials including monthly reporting (Income statement, P&L, Balance Sheet, Product Mix, Category Mix, etc.
) This includes comparisons to PY and plan.
