We specialize in multi-family developments as well as single-family homes.
We are looking for one full-time Maintenance Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be required to report 4 days to Ramona and 1 day to Spring Valley.
Reporting locations are subject to changes based on the company's needs.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3
years of Porter Maintenance experience and will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and Porter tasks for various apartments complexes and single-family homes such as unit turnovers, electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, painting, demolition, carpentry, and other maintenance requests.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform daily Porter walks and task to ensure curb appeal and common areas are maintained Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete projects and work orders efficiently Perform unit turnovers as needed whether it's alone or in a team environment Perform electrical maintenance tasks including, but not limited to replacement or repair fixtures (e.
g.
wall switches, and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent light fixtures, sockets, fuses, and minor appliances, cords, etc.
) using appropriate hand tools, power, and specialty tools Perform plumbing maintenance tasks (e.
g.
replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, adding new lines, etc.
) Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.
g.
drywall, demolition, texturing, preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks, and handles, etc.
) as well as exterior structural, and landscaping tasks Perform diagnostics and repairs, perform regular preventive maintenance on machine and equipment Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Perform other duties as assigned by Management Requirements of Physical Demands & Skills:

years of Maintenance and Porter experience in the apartment industry Ability to travel from one site to another site in the Romana and Spring Valley area Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, squat, and kneel for extended periods Ability to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs without assistance and up to 150 lbs with assistance Ability to work inside resident units with minimal supervision Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment Ability to operate a smartphone Valid Driver's License, valid vehicle registration, and proof of insurance Must have a reliable personal vehicle and the ability to utilize it for work Knowledge of AppFolio is highly preferred but not required Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of management, staff, residents, and vendors Ability to multitask, plan and manage multiple projects under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor Ability to pass a background check Ability to work flexible hours Job Type:
