DescriptionWe are currently looking for an experienced construction manager to join our expanding team.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing and allocating resources for various ongoing and upcoming construction projects across our expanding network of car wash facilities throughout San Diego County.
Your key responsibilities will include coordinating projects among external vendors, consultants, and our internal New Store Opening teams.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects in a large-scale multi-unit retail environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESo Lead and supervise multi-phase, large-scale car wash projects from inception to completiono Exercise sound judgment in project decision-making processeso Interpret and adhere to blueprints and technical diagrams throughout project lifecycleso Effectively manage and motivate project teams to ensure productivity and focuso Act as the primary point of contact for contractors, architects, vendors, and other stakeholderso Provide oversight to external contractors and ensure adherence to deadlines and objectiveso Prioritize project tasks for each department and vendor, ensuring alignment with goals and timelineso Foster collaborative relationships with municipal and utility entities to facilitate permitting and inspectionso Maintain accountability for project timelines, budgets, and overall progresso Promptly adapt to changing circumstances and understand the implications of adjustments on projects, personnel, and financesRequirementsBachelor's degree in construction, related field, or equivalent experience a plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
EXPERIENCEMinimum 7 years Commercial Construction Management experience in multi-unit retail OSHA Certified, CPR, First Aid a plus PMP Certification a plus Proven experience in a leadership capacity English and Spanish fluency a plus REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICALAbility to remain in a stationary seated or standing position for various increments of timeAble to move about to access a variety of tools and office equipmentAble to consistently operate a computer or other electronic deviceAble to ascend or descend a ladder, crouch or crawl Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, lift over head, twist and turn body when appropriateMust be able to communicate clearly through both verbal and written formPLEASE NO SOLICITATION BY OUTSIDE AGENCIESAbout the Company:
